Sabtu, 9 Februari 2013 mendatang, Arsenal harus datang ke Stadium of Light untuk kembali berhadapan dengan Sunderland di lanjutan Premier League musim ini. Seperti yang kita tahu bahwa laga ini akan menjadi laga yang melelahkan bagi para punggawa dari tim London itu, bagaimana tidak? beberapa punggawa yang selalu menjadi pemain initi Arsenal pada pertengahan minggu ini harus dipaksa menjalani laga Internasional bersama para negaranya masing - masing. Ini adalah beberapa pemain Arsenal yang menjalani laga Internasional pada pertengahan minggu ini : 

Aksi memukau Wilshere bersama Inggris yang menerima banyak pujian

• Jack Wilshere, Theo Walcott dan Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain dipanggil oleh timnas Inggris untuk melawan Brazil. Jack Wilshere menjadi MOTM pada pertandingan (bermain 90 menit), Theo Walcott juga membantu goal tercipta untuk Inggris (bermain 75 menit) tetapi Chamberlain tidak dimainkan pada laga ini.
• Laurent Koscielny, Bacary Sagna dan Olivier Giroud dipanggil oleh timnas Perancis untuk melawan Jerman. Koscielny hanya bermain 45 menit karena mendapat cedera, Sagna berhasil bermain konsisten untuk Perancis selama 90 menit dan Giroud berhasil membuat perubahan permainan di Perancis walaupun baru masuk menit 80 dan kalah 1-2 dari Jerman
• Lukas Podolski dan Per Mertesacker dipanggil oleh timnas Jerman untuk menghadapi Perancis. Per berhasil bermain 90 menit dan memberikan Marking yang ketat kepada pemain Perancis dan Podolski juga menjadi starter walau harus diganti dipertengahan babak kedua.
• Santi Cazorla dan Nacho Monreal dipanggil oleh timnas Spanyol untuk menghadapi Uruguay. Cazorla berhasil bermain selama 70 menit dan berkontribusi besar ats kemenangan 3-1 Spanyol dan Monreal hanya bermain 10 menit sebagai penganti
• Tomas Rosicky dipanggil oleh timnas Rep.Ceko menghadapi Turki dan begitu juga Wojciech Szczesny yang dipanggil timnas Polandia menghadapi Rep.Irlandia. Rosicky berhasil membawa timnya menang 2-0 atas Turki dan harus diganti pada menit 73 sedangkan Woj hanya bermain dibabak kedua setelah menggantikan Boruc 
• Aaron Ramsey yang dipanggil oleh Timnas Wales harus keluar dari skad sebelum menjalani laga karena cedera. Ramsey dibawa kembali ke Arsenal demi pencegahan cedera lebih lanjut dan pengobatan tentunya

Jack Wilshere, pemuda kelahiran tahun 1992 ini sekarang sudah seperti bagian nyata tersendiri bagi Arsenal. Peran sentral seorang Jack Wilshere sudah mulai kemabali 100% setelah cedera yang hampir memupuskan karirnya di dunia sepakbola. Mungkin sekarang saya akan lebih mengkategorikan Wilshere sebagai Box-To-Box Midfielder jika dia bermain bersama Santi Cazorla ataupun sebagai Creative Midfielder jika Cazorla harus dirotasi dan ia harus disandingkan bersama Diaby & Arteta di arsenal.

Jiwa petarung yang dipunya Wilshere yang sekarang sangat berdampak positif bagi Arsenal. Di saat Arsenal sendiri yang terkadang susah untuk mendobrak para tim rivalnya yang memainkan negative football, disini Wilshere akan muncul. Efek di lapangan seorang pemain berkebangsaan Inggris yang tidak kenal menyerah, memberikan through pass yang brilian, Dribble yang ciamik ataupun usahanya dalam duel duel dengan para pemain dari tim lawan inilah yang membuat ia menjadi faktor X tersendiri bagi Arsenal. 

Lalu bagaimana Wilshere dengan Sunderland nanti? untuk sekedar prediksi, Sunderland adalah tim yang kuat jika bermain dikandangnya musim ini. Berdasarkan Statistik yang ada dari 7 laga kandang terakhir Sunderland berhasil menjaga 5 Clean Sheet. Transfer & Janji Lucu

Akhirnya 31 hari jendela transfer di Premier League selesai. Arsenal bisa memboyong salah satu bintang Malaga yang berposisi sebagai Left-BAck yaitu Nacho Monreal. Bahkan dihari terakhir nama Reina, Amorebieta dan juga David Villa kembali muncul. lucunya lagi nama Monreal tidak sering terdengar selama 31 hari ini. Surprise !!
